The Farm - Livestock Barn

This 34x132 custom livestock barn, built in Sarasota, Florida, by Patriot Pole Barns, is part of The Farm, a one-of-a-kind agricultural education facility developed by the Sarasota County School District to provide students with hands-on experience in livestock care, farming, and agricultural sciences. As part of this large-scale, multi-building campus, Patriot Pole Barns played a major role in construction—building five of the seven total structures, demonstrating our ability to deliver complex, high-capacity agricultural facilities. This custom pole barn livestock barn was specifically designed for housing goats and pigs, featuring 36 individual 6x12 livestock pens for efficient organization and daily management. A dedicated 15x48 locker room provides students with a functional space for storage and transition, enhancing the usability of the facility. For easy maintenance and sanitation, the barn includes concrete drainage along the back side of the pens on both sides, allowing for quick wash-down and cleanup. Built by a trusted agricultural barn builder in Florida, this project highlights Patriot Pole Barns’ expertise in constructing durable, low-maintenance livestock facilities for educational campuses, commercial farms, and large-scale agricultural operations.
