This 6,048 sq ft custom cattle barn built in Sarasota, Florida by Patriot Pole Barns is part of the groundbreaking agricultural learning facility known as The Farm, a one-of-a-kind, multi-building campus developed by the Sarasota County School District to provide hands-on education in agriculture, livestock management, and food science. As part of this large-scale project—which includes seven new buildings across a 39-acre campus designed to serve thousands of students annually—Patriot Pole Barns was trusted to construct five of the core structures, demonstrating our capability to deliver complex, high-capacity agricultural facilities. This fully engineered cattle barn features a massive 16x108 center aisle with two 20x108 lean-tos, providing optimal airflow, shade, and operational efficiency in Florida’s climate. The layout includes 17 cattle pens (12x20 each) and a dedicated 12x20 feed and hay room, supporting both functionality and large-scale livestock management. Built by an experienced agricultural barn builder in Florida, this project highlights Patriot Pole Barns’ ability to design and construct large custom pole barns and livestock facilities that meet the demands of educational institutions, commercial operations, and serious agricultural producers.
